Information Technology (IT), is an important part of the foundation of the education, research, and management of the university. The University of Maragheh IT Center was founded in 1998. The aim of this center is to prepare high-quality information-system solutions that meet the needs of students and faculty members.

* Improving and upgrading networks and systems of the university
* Providing security and safety in the area of IT
* Teaching IT-related issues to the staff
* Providing comprehensive and effective online university services
* Supporting data and information for university applications
